Cooking Classes for Teens and Kids this Summer at NCC ; College for Kids

Norwalk Community College is offering a range of one-week cooking courses for children and teens this summer, to be held in the college’s professional Culinary Arts Kitchen.

These four-session courses meet for three hours in the morning (9 a.m. to noon) or afternoon (1 to 4 p.m.).

Working under the direction of a professional chef, students will navigate a commercial kitchen and work with professional restaurant equipment.

They will learn age-appropriate culinary skills and prepare healthy and tasty meals.

Participants will enjoy their culinary creations in a meal served family-style.

This summer College for Kids program begins July 2 and runs through Aug. 10.
The fee is $200 per one-week course. Most courses run Monday through Thursday. New classes start each Monday throughout the summer.
