Commencement Exercises to be Held on May 23
NCC will hold its 51st Commencement Exercises on Thursday, May 23, in the rear East Campus parking lot. The event will be held rain or shine in a large outdoor tent. Approximately 812 candidates will be eligible to march in the May 23 graduation procession. The graduate line-up will start at 4 p.m. inside the East Campus building. Students will be grouped according to their degree or certificate program. At 4:30 p.m., a Pipers Band will lead the student processional into the tent. David L. Levinson, Ph.D., NCC President and Vice-President of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (ConnScu) Board of Regents (BOR) will welcome graduates, guests and dignitaries.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., the commencement exercises will end and the Pipers Band will lead the graduation recessional out of the tent.
Immediately following the ceremony, graduates and their guests are invited to a reception on the first and second floor of the East Campus.
