Due to the inclement weather forecast, NCC will be closed on Saturday, January 24, 2015. All classes and college activities will be canceled for that day. In addition, College Goal Sunday will be postponed until Sunday, February 8, 2015.

Ninth Annual Academic Video Awards to be Held on May 9

NCC’s Communication Arts Program Presents the ninth annual Academic Video Awards (AVA) at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in the East Campus GenRe Forum Theater.,
Seating will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Share an entertaining evening with future film and television personalities at the NCC Communication Arts Academic Video Awards. The AVAs give students the chance to share their work with others and to receive recognition for work above and beyond the norm.

The awards are the continuation of a ritual to celebrate academic achievements and introduce the “stars of the future.”

Awards will be given for featured programs including: adventures in nature through New England’s changing seasons, original screen plays, NCC news stories, CT state news stories, documentaries, news broadcasts. There will also be awards for reporters, anchors, and directors.

Hors d’oeuvres and entertainment will follow the awards!
