About The NCC Foundation

The mission of The Norwalk Community College Foundation, Inc. is to support the activities of Norwalk Community College through a regional advisory council and philanthropic resources secured in support of the mission of the College. The Foundation seeks to provide a margin of excellence for the College's mission of providing comprehensive, innovative and affordable learning opportunities for diverse populations throughout southwestern Connecticut.

The Norwalk Community College Foundation:

• Fosters public understanding of the College while promoting wider public participation in its educational, cultural and community activities.
• Develops special capital projects and facilities.
• Provides stewardship of capital funds donated to the college by individuals or organizations for programs or activities that benefit the college.
• Encourages the development of new programs of study and enhances the quality of existing programs.
• Enhances the quality of education in academic and career programs through the acquisition of technologically advanced equipment.
• Promotes faculty development and the continuation of innovative teaching methods to benefit a multicultural student body.
• Raises funds from private sources for scholarships and student support

Norwalk Community College Foundation, Inc. is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
