Reserves

Faculty members can make items, their own or those of the Library's, available for use in the library only, or for short loan periods. E.g. a teacher may want all the students in the class to read only one chapter in an expensive book. That item can be made available on RESERVE, so all students easily have access to this information. Patrons can now conveniently search items on reserve by using Course Reserve in the online catalog. Search by Instructor, Department, Course and/or Section.

Teachers, please remember that this service is particularly time consuming at the beginning of each semester, so bring your reserve requests early!

Please fill out and submit this form to Liz Pisaretz, at least one week prior to requested date. You will receive written confirmation as soon as the item is entered in the computer. Please fill out one item per form.

Photocopies may be put on reserve for ONE SEMESTER, without written permission. For each subsequent semester, photocopy must be accompanied by proper written permission from the publisher or be a legal reprint.
