What are QR Codes?

NCC Library has included a QR (Quick Response) code within the results of a catalog search. QR codes are two dimensional barcodes which can be scanned by a cell phone camera.
This code will automatically display once you click on the item detail, it contains the key information of the item such as author, title and call number. No longer will you need to write down the call number to find a book in the stacks, or try to remember it.
Just take the image with you on your cell phone!
In order to make use of the QR codes, you need:
- A cell phone with a camera.
- QR Code reading software.
Then copy the code from the online catalog. Search any title and check it out!
