Reading/Writing II for College 70
This is the same class as ESL022, the 6-credit course already offered,
except students may take it as a non-credit course. Students must be eligible for ESL 022. They must
pass and get a "P" in this course to go to the next level ESL 132.
Oral Communications II 72
This is the same class as credit ESL 027, offered as non-credit. Must be
eligible for ESL 022 or higher. Class examines interesting contemporary
issues to improve listening/ speaking skills and use them in
discussions, presentations, surveys and interviews. Weekly Web Quest
activities online. Good preparation for speaking success in the college
classroom.
Anatomy & Physiology for ESL Students 77
Learn the specialized vocabulary for anatomy and physiology. Discuss
cross-cultural misunderstandings in healthcare and how to avoid them..
Improve speaking and pronunciation skills needed to communicate in

TOEFL Test Preparation 79
This course will give intermediate learners of ESL techniques for taking
the TOEFL test with greater success. Vocabulary acquisition, reading
comprehension, listening strategies & writing tips will be part of this
course. This summer course is a shortened version of the regular
semester course. |
