• Java - Microsoft Windows needs the Java Virtual Machine installed to run Java applets like Blackboard Chat and email.
• Mozilla Firefox - Just another browser you can use.
• Microsoft Compatibility Pack for Office 2007/2010 File Formats - Allows users of Office 2003 to access files created in 2007 or 2010
• Microsoft Office viewers – Allows viewing of Word documents, PowerPoint, and other files without having to purchase Microsoft Office. (These do not allow file creation.)
• QuickTime Video Player – allows viewing of videos in QuickTime format
• Adobe Reader – allows viewing of documents in portable document format (PDF)
