As per Governor Malloy's order, the college will close today, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. due to the anticipated snowstorm. The college will re-open on Monday, December 1st at 7:00 am.

We’re Here To Help…

 

Family and Children’s Agency, in collaboration with Norwalk Community College, is providing free short-term counseling for NCC students who are experiencing challenges in their lives.

 

Our highly trained Social Worker is available to help you through times of crisis or transition, and with individual, family, or other issues.  If necessary, we are qualified to connect you with outside services.

 

All of our counseling sessions are provided in a supportive, caring, and confidential manner.

 

To make an appointment call: 203-857-6870, or stop in the Counseling Center, East Campus, Room 104, and ask to make an appointment with our Social Worker.

NCC welcomes you to take an anonymous online screening for eating disorders, alcohol issues, anxiety disorders, and depression. The free screening is made available to all Norwalk Community College students and is taken anonymously. The screening is provided so that you may find out, in just a few minutes, whether or not professional consultation would be helpful to you.
