If you want to go to college, but have obstacles to overcome theres help
available! The Connecticut Talent Assistance Cooperative (CONNTAC) has a 37-year
track record of successful intervention in opening doors of educational equity
for Connecticut residents. NCCs Educational Opportunity Center counselor at
CONNTAC can assist Connecticut residents with free services.
CONNTAC Counselors can assist:

High School Seniors
High School Dropouts
GED students
Inmates/Ex-Offenders
Veterans
Dislocated Workers
Disabled Individuals
CONNTAC Program activities include:
Helping adults enroll in college
Helping students with the financial aid and scholarship search process
Providing admission application fee waivers for income-eligible participants
Assisting residents who are in default on student loan
Helping residents make realistic and proactive career choices
Awarding an annual scholarship targeted to low income, first generation bound
college students who have overcome significant obstacles to pursue their
education
