Advisor Directory

After your admissions application has been accepted and you are a student at NCC, you will receive a letter from us assigning you to a specific academic advisor.  Usually, your advisor will be the Program Director of the Degree or Certificate Program in which you have enrolled.  If you are a General Studies or non-degree major, you will be assigned an advisor from a faculty or staff member who best understands your particular needs and goals.  Make a note of this person's name, because he or she will guide you through your academic career at the College.  If you have questions about courses needed to fulfill your degree or certificate requirements, your academic advisor is the person you should see.

Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor early in your academic career at NCC.  Your Academic Advisor will help you achieve your goals.  Your Academic Advisor plays an important role in your success.  He or she can help you set intermediate and longer term objectives to help you fulfill your required curriculum of studies on your  schedule.  Regular appointments with your advisor to review your progress and to reassess your goals will help get the most of your NCC experience.
