COORDINATOR, NURSING & ALLIED HEALTH LABS -


CCP-18, 11-month Full-Time Tenure Track

Qualifications

Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following areas:

• Academic and skills assessment methods;
• Familiarity with physical and learning disabilities;
• Remedial, developmental and adult education methods and techniques;
• Computer-based instructional technology;
• Supervision of staff;
• Budget management;
• Oral and written communication.

These skills and abilities typically are acquired through a combination of education, training and experience which would include a Master’s degree in Nursing or other Allied Health field together with one to four years of related experience which includes one or two years of experience in the supervision of the work of others; or a combination of education, training and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position's essential duties.

Responsibilities

The Coordinator, Nursing & Allied Health Labs typically works under the direction of the Division Director or other administrator. The position supervises a staff of professional and support staff and student workers who provide tutoring and basic skills instruction for students. The incumbent is required to have collaborative and cooperative relationships with faculty, administration, staff and students. The incumbent is expected to represent the College in a positive manner and to collaborate with academic and student services departments to contribute to retaining students.


Minimum Salary

$56,150 approximate annual salary and full benefits package.
