Stacy M. Israel Art, Architecture & Design Student Exhibition

The 2011 Stacy M. Israel Art, Architecture & Design Student Exhibition will open on Thursday, May 5. The sprawling exhibition includes artworks in drawing, painting, ceramics, color, photography, sculpture, architecture, interior design, graphic design and Web design. Works from the fine arts and studio arts areas are on display in the NCC Art Gallery and along the Art corridor of the East Campus. Architecture, interior design, graphic design and Web design works are on display in the West Campus Community Gallery, and along the Architecture corridor of the West Campus.

This year’s winning posters were designed by Johanna Loerracher and Krys Piorkowski, marking the first time the exhibition has had shared honors since its inception in 1993. The opening reception will be held on May 5 from 12:00–1:00 pm. Awards and presentations will begin at 12:30 pm. The show closes May 20, 2011.
